The Lydie nail polish is a white opaque nail polish when it is applied in 2 coats, and therefore perfectly protects your nails from UV rays.

After applying a silicon protective base coat or fortifying solution to each nail, apply two coats of white nail polish and finish with a silicon top coat.

Also think about using nail polish drying oil to significantly reduce the drying time of your manicure.

Be careful, it is sometimes difficult to get an homogeneous result and perfect white nails with a white nail polish. To ensure that you have the best chance of success, keep your white nail polish in the fridge and warm it between your hands to homogenise the texture before application.

Why titanium dioxide?

Titanium dioxide (in the INCI list of your cosmetics) is a controversial ingredient because it can be toxic in its [nano] form, which means that it is so fine that it can enter the body. This makes it a prohibited ingredient in food.

However, you can find it in some of our nail polishes and make-up products, where it is used as a white pigment. In our cosmetics and nail polishes, it is obviously not in [nano] form but in the form of particles that are completely harmless to your body, a form in which titanium dioxide is even allowed in organic cosmetics. For well-polished nails without any risk for your health!

Does the white silicon nail polish protect my nails from the sunrays?

Of course! Like all our other silicon nail polishes (except for the "Nude", which is only semi-opaque), the white nail polish provides mechanical protection against UV rays, when it is applied in 2 opaque coats. For a perfect manicure, we advise you to apply: a protective base coat, 2 coats of the white nail polish, and a final coat of top coat.
